I live in Knoxville, TN and am currently working from home.  I graduated from Bryan college, 3 years ago.  I began working with Adventures in Missions.

I serve with the church mobilization team.  We are responsible to keep up with the Youth Pastors that are bringing their groups on trips. We make sure everything is getting everything done and they are ready for their upcoming summer trips; we read their paperwork and answer their questions. In the summer, I help lead several projects. As a manager, I also look for ways to improve our system and our relationships with youth pastors.

It is a love and gratefulness for His love that compels me to do what he has called me to do. I really have a desire to help youth see this. Many grow up in Christian homes but never realize what it is all about – it never becomes real in their heart! It is about how much Christ loved them! I believe that mission trips should be a crucial part of a youth ministry. Based on my experience and research, I see a great connection between these trips and spiritual growth.

God laid this job description on my heart before I found the job. I served as a leader for our short-term mission trips at college and I really fell in love with leading and planning. I love working with youth and love getting them over the hump where this faith becomes real and personal to them. At AIM I believe we do that by pulling them out of all that is comfortable and putting them in an extreme and intense environment where they will see God in a way that they never have before.

While I am home and not traveling, I help out with our college and career class at West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN.  I love my college girls.   I lead their small group Bible Study on Thursday nights.  We gather for dinner and a little Bible Study.
