With this time of Thanksgiving just around the corner, I bet you’re thanking God for a lot of things. Weakness is not generally one that makes the top of the list as we count our blessings. Yet God has recently been showing me that it is in my weakness that He gets to be great and for several months now, I’ve been thanking God for weakness. The New Testament is full of verses about God’s strength in our weakness, and when you have the chance to experience God’s greatness, it becomes kind of addicting.

One weakness, I must admit, I’m not a big fan of is financial weakness. I hate being dependent on others for financial resources. Yet, here in James he says, ““Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?” ~ James 2:5

I remember when I first started this job, I was not eager to raise support. It is still not one of my favorite things about my job but I admit it does require me to trust and to see God’s greatness.

For those of you who give faithfully, I want to say thank you for allowing God to use you as part of building my faith. However, please know that in the recent months my support has been very inconsistent. During these months, I end up eating into my support account and will eventually end up depleting it. If my support account is depleted, I will have to stop working until I can raise my support income back to my monthly goal. I am praying in the future months that God will raise up more monthly supporters and that I can get my monthly support to it’s target level.

Each of you can have a part in this.

1) If you are currently giving, please continue with your support; your faithfulness means so much to me.

2) If you are interested in becoming a monthly supporter, remember every little bit helps; don’t feel that any gift is too small, you can support me online at my blog page: http://saraperelman.myadventures.org/ , select the “Support Me” link.  If you would rather mail it in, please email me (saraperelman@adventures.org) for instructions.

3) If you are unable to support me financially at this time, please join me in praying for some consistent monthly supporters to join my team in the next couple of months. I really need to have this in place by the first of the year.

God is great and his financial resources are innumerable. I praise him for this opportunity to trust him and have great faith in his ability to provide for my needs at this time. Please join me in watching God provide and prayerfully consider if He wants to use you!

Blessings to each of you who are apart of what God is doing through my ministry!
