This last week in Philadelphia the Kingdom of heaven wasn't making a Huge statement. We didn't parade through streets or announce our presence in Kensington. But just like a small mustard seed, we quietly allowed God's kingdom to enter into Kensington. We prayed with multiple people and over the very streets we walked down. We handed out water bottles to lots of thirsty people. We sat over lemonade and listened to stories of desperation. The kingdom served hot dogs in the rain to the homeless. It cleaned a ministry house for kids. It was beautiful. Thanks so much for your prayers. It was such a blessing to be apart of bringing little pieces of God's kingdom to the streets of Kensington and to do it with some of my best friends! I was blessed by their presence.
The main neighborhood that we ministered in...full of homeless and addicts.
We all were paired up with 2 kids that we worked with after school.
Our crazy group from West Park!
Headed to our "cookout" in the rain!
Praying over the city on Sunday afternoon!
