Wow!

I'm sitting here in the middle of our kitchen as my team of 50 cleans-up and prepares to go.  It has been an amazing week with them.  I have lead this trip for 3 years and I love this team!  They are truly amazing and truly a blessing to me.  Tonight we went out to dinner together and had a great time of fellowship.  I have loved hanging out with them.

This week God has wowed me.  I had a lot of fear and doubt coming into this trip but God has just again showed me that he is faithful.  These 55 junior highers have worked soooo hard.  They have gutted about 4 houses, done a VBS, helped rebuild a couple's home, eaten with homeless (not good food mind you).  They have loved on people and prayed with people.  These guys have been amazing.  God has worked through them.  He has given the energy for long days and hard work.

Their leaders are such great examples and disciplers and I love watching them minister to their kids.  They do a great job and they need so little assisstance from me.  I can just give them directions and send them on their way.  But I truly love spending time with their leaders.  They challenge me to challenge students and give me a passion for them.

Thank you to all of you who have prayed and been a part of the ministry this week.  Once again, at the end of the week, I stand amazed at all that God has done!
